A small, quiet life

Glimpses of today (20261028)

This morning's moon was so bright that the clouds around it actually looked white for a good distance out. Really pretty.

Second day in a row that i arrived to work well before my usual 7am. The creatine is helping so much, especially combined with the changed schedule. My mental energy and outlook being so much improved, i literally can't figure out when i last felt this way. It's similar to when i first went on the FODMAP elimination diet--that was almost entirely the brain fog lifting, while this is more the baseline anhedonia lifting. It's not gone entirely, but is so lessened that it feels rather miraculous.

Had to turn the AC on when i got home, which was rather annoying. But between the temperature and the humidity, fans just weren't going to cut it. Will be back in the 80s again tomorrow; am hoping for enough cloud cover to keep the house cooler. As much as i love all the south-facing windows in winter, when it's abnormally warm all that direct sunlight's just a bit too much.
