Glimpses of today (20261018)
One of my best friends lives two time zones behind me and is a night owl. I'm unable to sleep in. So occasionally we text-chat while i'm waking up and she's getting ready for bed. Today was one of those days!
At the grocery store, the gal working the checkout was a trainee. She apologized for being slow, so i told her stories from my retail days and got her laughing.
One of my niblings had a soccer game this evening, and i was able to attend. They scored their first goal of the season! But my ears are mad at me for not taking something to cover them with as the sun went down.
