Glimpses of today (20261013)
Very rough morning at work, mental-health-wise. Which was particularly difficult, oddly, from having slept so well. Expectations sure will bite you on the ass at the most inopportune times.
But! Managed to wind down fairly quickly once home. Read a little, and did a longer exercise session than i've managed in the last few months. It's occasionally odd to think that i'm so proud of my progress when i can't even regularly get to the 30 minute mark, but i really am happy with how much it has helped to adjust my thinking away from having a set schedule for movement.
Also happy at the arrival of the last of the three orders i'd placed for some additional cool weather clothing. The forecasters keep saying summer's going to end soon; not entirely sure i believe them. So far, October's only been a little better than September, which set a state-wide record for hottest on record.
