Glimpses of today (20261012)
Felt very iffy this morning, but also a little energetic. Yes, it's an odd combination. Got the slow cooker started early, then did the grocery store run that was unable to do yesterday. Had all my meal prep done before noon, which is rare.
Audio book re-read and brainless games all afternoon, since of course energy tanked after all that.
Realized that it's been a good while since last heard a Mississippi kite, so they've definitely migrated for the winter. They're so loud, you wouldn't think it'd take so long to notice when they're gone. But every year, it takes me a while to notice the absence.
