Glimpses of today (20260908)
Big-but-distant bang and a total, though brief power, outage this morning startled me really badly. Had a hard time regulating after that; ended up feeling on-edge all day. Every time i'd feel calmer, something would happen that ramped me back up. sigh
At least i got in a couple rounds of walking the stairs? To try to relieve the jitters and emotions. Only partially helpful on that front, but good for my bones, in any case.
Just DNF'd a book because of the utterly stupid way in which one MC was being onboarded to a new job. So am just generally cranky, to go with the on-edge.
