Glimpses of today (20260824)
Made sweet and sour chicken with rhubarb (plus a little brown sugar) in place of pineapple. Turned out quite well, despite having added the bell peppers a smidge too early.
Annual skin check today. As per usual in recent years, had a small biopsy. It's rather odd, for these to feel like a non-event now; they used to be quite alarming.
Pulled the sample ballot for tomorrow's voting, to make sure i remembered correctly which initiatives would be on it, and also found a runoff election i'd completely forgotten about. Precisely why i always pull the sample ballot!
